A meeting was held at the Broadway Brewery on January 8, even though it was very cold. It was as cold and snowy on Wednesday, February 12 so President Andy Kassel decided to hold the meeting remotely. The main topic of business was the annual election of officers. Andy Kassel was elected President, Ben Trachtenberg was elected Vice President, and Bruce Klaus was elected Secretary/Treasurer. The annual report for Central Missouri Sigma Chi Alumni and our $300 dues will be sent to Sigma Chi HQ.

Bob Aulgur presented information on the upcoming installation of the Delta Tau Chapter at Westminster along with the initiation of 26 new members on March 7-8 2025 in Fulton, MO.

Next meeting will be at the Broadway Brewery on Wednesday, March 12 from 5 – 7 pm.

At the November 13 meeting held at Broadway Brewery, Columbia, MO several members of the Xi Xi Chapter from the University of Missouri attended including Max Hunt and Stephen Boateng. Likewise at the December 11 meeting Jack Schroeder, Vincent Paino, Maxwell Hunt, Tyler Thomas and Greg Goetz were in attendance from the Xi Xi Chapter. They had just initiated six new brothers on December 6. Seven alumni members were present including Rick Huffstutter, Bob Aulgur, Hunter Goosmann, Rich Richardson, Andy Kassel, Ben Trachtenberg, and Bruce Klaus.

Bob Aulgur reported that the Tau Associate Chapter from Westminster is ready and approved to proceed with the installation of the Delta Tau Chapter and initiation of new members in early March.

Central Missouri Alumni Chapter voted in favor of the Sigma Chi Upsilon Associate Chapter at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee to proceed with plans for installation as a new chapter. Their Formal Petition was approved by Central Missouri Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter.

The Xi Xi Chapter at University of Missouri – Columbia was installed on Saturday, October 5 along with the initiation of 51 new members. Grand Pro Consul Ryan Temby and Grand Praetor Rob Westrich, Michael Bertz, Dean Thompson, and Dave Knight provided leadership for the ceremonies. Harry Lunt and Mike Barnett organized the Alumni Banquet that followed on Saturday evening. Kudos to the Sigma Chi brothers from St Louis University for their excellent participation in the events. Members of Central Missouri Sigma Ch Alumni Chapter facilitated many of the activities in the weeks leading up to Oct 4 – 5 working with Director of Expansion Des Robinson and Expansion Coordinator Jorvis McGee from Sigma Chi Headquarters.

We discussed the Installation/Initiation at our October 9 Central Missouri Sigma Chi Alumni meeting held at the Broadway Brewery in Columbia. We also heard news about the Installation/Initiation of the Sigma Chi associate chapter at Westminster in the Spring of 2025.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 13 at the Broadway Brewery from 5 -7 pm
