Lunch meetings are held the second Wednesday of every even month. Remaining meetings in 2018 are: June 13, August 8, October 10, and December 12.

Held at the Stadium Grill, 1219 Fellows Place,Columbia,Missouri at Noon.Meetings will usually last about an hour.

President Andy Kassel, Western Illinois ' 95 and George Gale, Missouri ' 54 reported on the presentation April 7 by Kordel David at Neff Hall on the U of MO campus. sponsored by Sigma Chi and facilitated by Ben Trachtenberg, Yale ' 01. About 50 people were in attendance.Since Scott Priesmeyer, TCU ' 95 has a Bulldog we discussed the history of Uga, the mascot for the Georgia Bulldogs. All ten Ugas have been owned and cared for by the Seiler family of Savannah,GA.Significant Sig Frank W." Sonny" Seiler, Georgia ' 57 started the tradition in 1956. Prior to a football game Sonny took Uga to the Sigma Chi house where everyone thought it would be a good idea to take him to the game. In other Sigma Chi dog news - Significant Sig W. Bruce Cameron, Westminster  ' 78  received an Alumni Achievement Award on April 21 in Fulton,MO. Cameron is the best selling author of " A Dog's Purpose", which was released as a movie in 2017. Another book, " A Dog's Way Home" will be released by Sony as a movie in January 2019.
