Lunch meetings are held the second Wednesday of every even month. Remaining meetings in 2018 are August 8, October 10 and December 12.
Held at the Stadium Grill, 1219 Fellows Place,Columbia,Missouri at Noon. Meetings usually last about an hour.
President Andy Kassel, Western Illinois ' 95 reviewed the upcoming Grand Council held at the Renaissance Hotel,O'Hare in Chicago on June 22-23. The President of the St Louis Alumni Chapter Terry A. Benassi, Southeast Missouri '68 was inducted in to the 2018 Class of the Order of Constantine. Congratulations to Terry. Sigma Chi International is always interested in ideas concerning alumni engagement. It was mentioned that the " Tiger Sig " newsletter with four editions each year is an excellent publication to keep alumni well advised on the Sigma Chi events at the University of Missouri.You can see back editions of the Tiger Sig at http://xixichaptersigmachi.com/ Andy Kassel suggested that the Central Missouri Alumni Chapter might look to hold some evening events in the mid Missouri area.All in attendance seemed to think that would be a good idea.Any Sigma Chi alumni that have suggestions for events,please contact Andy.This website gets hundreds of hits every month informing all of Sigma Chi news. On non Sigma Chi related topics, we discussed family genealogy and the new building under construction in downtown Columbia for the State Historical Society for Missouri.

Military Service Recognition Pin
Sigma Chi is pleased to recognize honorably discharged or currently serving members of the U. S. and Canadian armed forces, remembering that the White Cross that we wear is the emblem of sacrifice. The virtues displayed through one’s service to country brings honor to name of Sigma Chi.
The award may be bestowed upon a brother who has met the following criteria:
- Currently serving or honorably discharged from the armed forces
- A member in good standing of Sigma Chi Fraternity
